3. «VIDEO RET 1-2» selector switch Selection of the external video number,

RET1 or RET2, displayed in the viewfinder

when the external video is selected using the

«RET» button on the lens. The display is

either permanent or momentary (refer to the

«Description of cameraman operating func-

tions» paragraph in this chapter. The RET1

and RET2 videos are applied to the back of

the Channel Control Unit.

Note :

1) Transmission of external videos depends

on the length of the triaxial cable. Refer

to the SPECIFICATION chapter.

2) the «RET2» video is available if the

«PROMPTER» option is installed in the

camera.

4. "MENU ↑, ↓" and «MENU +,-» selector

switches.

Display and modification of Cameraman

functions:

•«MENU ↑, ↓» buttons: Display the

Cameraman’s operating functions and

enable the cursor to be moved to select the

function to be modified.

• «MENU +,-» buttons:

• Used to modify the operating functions

selected using the «MENU ↑, ↓»

buttons.

• If the operating functions are not

displayed, these buttons select

(permanent manner "MENU -", or

momentary manner "MENU +") the

RET1 or RET2 video displayed in the

viewfinder. The "RET1" or "RET2"

signal selection is made by the

"VIDEO RET" switch.

to the 3.3.2 - Cameraman operating func-

tions paragraph in this chapter.
